GROWTH

Protect what matters most, from affordability to neighbourhood character, while managing growth responsibly.

VOICE

Present activism within our community, listening to residents and bringing your voices forward.

SERVE

Champion youth, families, and equity so every resident feels supported and represented. Serve on the Bradford Youth Council Advisory Committee, ensuring youth voices are heard.

Future‑Focused Leadership.
Community‑Driven Action.
Responsible Growth.

I’m running to be Ward 4’s advocate as a steady, present, and future‑focused leader who listens deeply, plans thoughtfully, and protects what makes our community special.

Bradford is growing, and that growth requires leadership that can balance progress with quality of life, affordability, and the character of our neighbourhoods.

My commitment is straightforward: I will be a responsive, accessible resource for Ward 4, bringing your concerns, ideas, and priorities directly to the municipality.

MEET JAMAL

Ward 4's Advocate

I’ve had the privilege of watching Bradford grow and transform since moving here with with my family in 2010. Living in both Dream Fields and Summerlyn has given me a deep understanding of our neighbourhoods, our families, and our evolving needs.

As Bradford has grown, so has the number of young families. I’ve watched many of our children grow, investing my time in supporting them through community, educational, and youth focused programs.

I’m family oriented and fully present in my role as a parent, whether through my daughter’s extracurriculars, school involvement, or community events. My commitment to youth and families extends well beyond my own home.

I see firsthand the connection, support, and sense of belonging that strong community services creates by partnering and volunteering with:
•    the school board and parent council,
•    the library board as well as the Friends of the Library,
•    local organizations, such as the Helping Hand Food Bank,
•    Junior Achievement financial literacy youth programming, and
•    the Town of Bradford West Gwillumbury’s DEI Committee.

Bradford has given me so much over the past 16 years. I intend to continue giving back by being present, engaged, and committed to the wellbeing of our families, our youth, and our future.
