Bradford West Gwillimbury offers the warmth and connection of a close-knit community alongside the conveniences of a modern town. However, with our community rapidly growing toward key milestones, we are at a critical turning point. We must manage growth thoughtfully so that our infrastructure, local economy, and neighborhood safety keep pace.
As a long-time resident, active volunteer, board leader, and workplace process manager, my priority is to accurately represent the interests of Ward 4 residents and serve as your dedicated advocate at Town Council.

Responsible Growth & Essential Infrastructure
As our population grows, municipal services and infrastructure must scale alongside residential development to protect our quality of life.

Expand Core Services: Advocate for proactive investments in fire and emergency services, recreational facilities, and municipal utility infrastructure (water, wastewater, stormwater, and power).

Support Families & Schools: Partner with school boards and local stakeholders to ensure neighborhood school capacity expands to match community growth.

Protect Our Heritage: Ensure residential expansion is balanced with the protection of our agricultural roots, particularly the Holland Marsh.
How I am already supporting this work: My volunteering and Board position at the Helping Hand Food Bank has displayed that the growth of our town has not benefited all, and local residents are falling through the cracks requiring our support.

Improve service at Bradford GO: Explore opportunities for expanded parking to increase reliability and adoption, while advocating to Metrolinx for increased service on the Barrie Line
How I am already supporting this work: My hands-on experience as a Parent Council Member has placed me directly at the intersection of local infrastructure and family safety. By participating in school community events and engaging daily with families, I experience the real-time safety needs, traffic congestion, and pedestrian connectivity issues during drop-offs, pick-ups, and community gatherings.

Keeping property taxes manageable requires a balanced local economy with a strong commercial and industrial tax base.

Develop Employment Lands: Actively promote and expand local employment hubs to bring jobs closer to home and relieve the tax burden on residential homeowners.

Support Local Business: Encourage vibrant commercial development so residents can access services, shopping, and dining locally.

Transparent Budgeting: Ensure municipal funds are spent efficiently, prioritize core services, and leverage clear data to justify town expenditures.
How I am already supporting this work: Through Junior Achievement of Central Ontario, I deliver financial literacy and entrepreneurship workshops to local youth in BWG schools and at the BWG Library. I am actively fostering an entrepreneurial mindset in the community while advocating for economic literacy. Additionally, organizing corporate-sponsored volunteer days at the Helping Hand Food Bank demonstrates your ability to build private-public connections that bring external resources into the community.

Council decisions should never happen in isolation; direct resident input must drive local government decisions.

Open Dialogue: Maintain consistent communication with Ward 4 residents through regular updates, neighborhood meetings, and accessible digital channels.

Community Advocacy: Bring years of governance experience, diversity and inclusion leadership, and community volunteerism directly to the Council table to ensure all voices are heard.

Accountability: Listen first, ask the right questions, and maintain transparency on how decisions are made and how funds are used.
How I am already supporting this work: On the BWG Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Advisory Committee, I directly advise on updating town policies to reflect Bradford's growing, diverse population. Through hands-on community engagement, such as the Helping Hand Food Bank warehouse logistics to hosting corporate volunteer events, I practice transparent, listening first leadership that bridges resident feedback with real action.

Empowering Youth & Investing in Families
Our young people represent the future of Bradford West Gwillimbury. Preparing them with practical skills, engaging programs, and inclusive community spaces must be a top priority.

Financial Literacy & Entrepreneurship: Expand youth education programs,such as Junior Achievement workshops in local schools and the BWG Library to equip students with essential life and business skills.

Youth Programs & Public Spaces: Advocate for accessible recreational facilities, library programming, and after-school initiatives to ensure young people have safe, productive environments to grow.

Representation & Inclusion: Support youth diversity and cultural education initiatives like the Black Experience Expo, ensuring students see themselves reflected and valued in our community.
How I am already supporting this work: Not only do I serve on the Board of Junior Achievement of Central Ontario, but I also take time away from the Boardroom to deliver financial literacy and entrepreneurship workshops directly to youth in local schools and at the BWG Library. On the Parent Council, I coordinate school events and fundraisers to be an advocate for youth to empower them for the future.
Our community stands at a vital turning point, and navigating our growth requires leadership that combines deep local roots with a proven track record of action. Over the past decade, whether serving on local boards, coordinating youth programs in our schools, or engaging directly with families across our neighborhoods, my goal has always been simple: to listen, collaborate, and deliver meaningful results.
Running for Town Council is an opportunity to take the trust, insight, and accountability built through years of hands-on service and apply it where it can do the greatest good for our entire community.
I promise to continue serving our community and town, as I have done so over the years, bringing growth and change to Ward 4. On election day, I ask for your vote so we can build a safer, more connected, and prosperous future for Bradford West Gwillimbury together.
